There’s nothing that the forward-thinking, open-hearted Ann Arbor community loves more than appreciating artisan quality in all products! JP-Bourgeois is a fulfilling source of beautiful organic and biodynamic wines from small family vineyards. This fine wine importer specializes in Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Languedoc, the Loire, Provence, the Rhône, and Southwest France, as well at Spain’s Cariñena and La Mancha regions, and Slovenia’s Ptuj and Štajerska. Most estates have Biodynamic accreditation via DEMETER or BIODYVIN, and carry the EU Organic Certification. JP-Bourgeois prides itself in offering exceptional values, aiming the retail prices at under $30. We’ll focus on their French Selections at this tasting, with Provençal Rosé, Bordeaux Superieur, Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine, Grenache and Syrah (Varietally labelled!) from the Côtes du Rhône, Beaujolais Blanc, and Kerner from Slovenia. A couple of Spanish gems might pop in! We’re happy to welcome importer ambassador Anna Vogel, who will help these wines come to life.

Seated Wine Tasting l Tickets $295
We invite you to join this extraordinary, exclusive tasting. Only a dozen guests will have the opportunity to experience all three of Jayson and Helen Woodbridge’s lauded wine projects: Hundred Acre, Fortunate Son, and Summer Dreams. Over 25 years, Winemaker Jayso Woodbridge has received more than 61 hundred-point scores, mostly for Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon under the Hundred Acre label. The heart of Hundred Acre is the three estate Napa Valley vineyards, on Howell Mountain, its foothills, and in Calistoga – Few and Far Between, Morgan’s Way, and Ark. We’ll taste Dark Ark, a selection of the darkest, densest lots, and Wraith, a barrel selection of the three sites. With Summer Dreams, Helen and Jason invested in a Sonoma Coast ranch, where “Pinot Noir get to a different place where is just can’t get to elsewhere”. Fortunate Son in St. Helena, named after son Cameron, produces Cabernet from small, old vine Napa parcels, family-owned by sources Jayson refuses to reveal. The Warrior is a single site Cabernet Sauvignon. Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW comments, “It is incredibly frustrating as a critic to taste such a line-up and not only not be able to find a single flaw, but also to be nothing less than astonished by the levels of complexity and singularity of every single wine.”
